Our Underlays:

A good quality underlay helps to cushion the effects of everyday life on your new carpet. This means that your new carpet will keep the “just fitted” look for much longer than if it had been fitted without.

We have different qualities available, and also different thicknesses. Therefore we can find the correct underlay for the application and also offer multiple comfort levels.

Super:

A mid range underlay with a density of 85kg/m³, made from recycled polyurethane foam it offers unbelievable softness but retains the ability to spring back to its original shape after being compressed. It is hard wearing and will not dry out crumble or react to everyday household cleaners. Suitable for Medium traffic areas, meaning most rooms in your home, except for the Stairs & Landing Areas.

Super Underlay is available in 2 thicknesses: 8mm & 10mm.

When supplied and fitted alongside your new carpet you’ll only pay for what you need:

Super 8: £6.00m², Super 10: £6.50m²

When supplied only on a Cash and Carry Basis on 15m² Full Rolls:

Super 8: £60, Super 10: £67.50.

Intercity:

Our High Traffic Rated underlay, with a massive density of 130kg/m³, it is extremely hard wearing offering both comfort underfoot and the ability to bounce back after being compressed. The extra density offers much better support for your carpet during everyday use, vastly reducing wear and tear. Being suitable for Heavy traffic areas means it can be used anywhere in your home, including on your stairs.

Intercity is available in 2 thicknesses: 9mm, & 11mm.

When supplied and fitted alongside your new carpet you’ll only pay for what you need:

Intercity 9mm: £7.00m² & Intercity 11mm: £8.00m²

When supplied only on a Cash and Carry Basis on 15m² Full Rolls:

Intercity 9mm: £75.00 Intercity 11mm: £82.50.

(Please note Intercity 11 Requires the specialist thicker G9 Gripper)

Colours Red:

Our top quality luxury sponge rubber underlay ,with a massive density of 357kg/m³, it is extremely hard wearing offering both comfort underfoot and the ability to bounce back after being compressed. The extra density offers much better support for your carpet during everyday use, vastly reducing wear and tear. Suitable for Heavy traffic areas meaning it can be used anywhere in your home, including your stairs.

Colours Red is an 11.4mm Thick Underlay

When supplied and fitted alongside your new carpet you’ll only pay for what you need: £17.50m²

When supplied only on a cash and carry basis on a 11m² full roll: £165 per roll.
